Cheapo Sunvisor Extenders
My 300M has those plasticky pull out extenders and recently on one trip in our MPV, I remembered there was few posts about lack of those in the MPV. We have the CD visor holder on the drivers side, so I was enlightened by an idea. OK, here it goes.
1. First of all, you need to have one of these CD visor holders. Or perhaps two large rubber bands over the sunvisor would work as well (those purple ones used at Costco for asparagus packs).
2. Find some letter size cardboard, I used the back support insert from photo papers. It should be sturdy enough not to bend by itself, but you don't have to use box thickness grade cardboard either.
3. Cut about 1.5 inches out of the longer side.
4. Slide it under the CD holder and there you have it. It blocks the rear view mirror in the up front position, but it works like a charm when used to block side sunshine. No more burning ears from hot sun.
